Review on Paradise Lost book ix by John Milton

                              Paradise lost is a first English epic written by John Milton. Epic is the greatest heroic poem in English literature and one of its greatest kind in worlds literature. Paradise lost contains twelve books among which book number nine was in my post graduation syllabus. It starts with the statement of the subject, the fall of the man and a noble invocation for light and divine guidance. The first book describes the rebale of Satan against god, and how much powerful Satan is. Satan and his supported were thrown out of the heaven. From where the fight between good and evil begins. And prediction of fall of the man occurs.

                     Book number nine contains the description of the beauty of the garden of the eden. God has created beat of his creation in form of Adam and from Adam god also created eve as companion. Adam and Eve are free to live and rule all the beings on the garden, but only forbidden to eat the fruit of apple which was the fruit of knowledge. Now Satan get to know about this that god has created garden and best of his creation in the world. The evil mind of Satan thought to take revange in god, thus he think of taking revange by distorting the creation in form of human. He determined to take revange by manipulating eve to eat fruit from knowledge tree and by committing such act she will be disobedient to god. And in a way God's obedient creation will be distorted.

                            At the begging of the book number nine Raphael warns Adam about the conspiracy formed by Satan, and also warned him not to be disobedient to God.

Book number nine begins with the description of the garden of Eden. And beauty of Eve and Adam the first human being on the face of the earth. It contains desicriotion of routine life of the couple, how they live, agriculture, etc. Satan finds Adam being intelligent and not very easy to manipulate or to persuades to eat fruit from apple tree, Satan chose Eav as the target. It describes why and how Satan plans out on his target. When Adam was not at home Satan come in disguise of serpent. Eve is amazed by the ability and power of sepent, that it can speak like a human being, more in that it can think, knows logic, and even can think better than eve. These qualities of serpent attracted Eve. Eve raring to get the same ability and knowledge as much as Adam has. Eve tried to know that how it get this knowledge, Serpent suggest her that by eating the fruit from the forbidden tree. Raphael has informed Adam about Satan and his plan, but at that time Eve was cooking thus she remained unknown about it. 

Its natural desire of any person to be equal to fellow being... And that desire lead Eve to eat fruit from the forbidden tree. The act of eating fruit means to disobey the God and as a result of that Eve becomes the sinner. 

At evening when Adam comes back to home Eve tells everything that had happened during the day time. Adam realized the sin that is committed by Eve but Adam loves her like nothing and thus he liked to share the punishment given by god. At the end of the book number nine Adam and Eve expelled from the garden of eden.

#Masaan movie review

Recently released Bollywood movie “#Masaan” highly appreciated in ‘Cannes Film Festival’ for its cinematography, symbols, dialogues, acting and storytelling. But, I’m sure most of you haven’t even heard the name of the movie. It was released in last July. Souls are said to be liberated in Kashi, and #Masaan(Smashan). In this way title is symbolic as well as significant. It captures the unique character of a town-Allahabad which has been wrestling with life and death for centuries. Director has presented the place as it is, its beauty and ugliness. #Masaan a desolate place follows two heart breaking tales. One is of Devi whose life condemned after caught in the act(in Hotel With ‘Piyush’). The second plot is of a lower caste boy Deepak, Who falls in love with ‘Shalu’ at first-sight. Very Brief Summary of The White Tiger by Arvind Adiga

The white tiger novel published in 2008 by Indian young writer Arvind Adiga, which won him glittering Man Booker Prize of the year 2008. The novel presents India in quite different and unacceptable way and by and large this India would be unexpected by most Indians. The novel has simple plot that how a poor man from countryside becomes an entrepreneur in present globalizing India.                                     The story is divided in six nights every night he tells the biography of an entrepreneur. Every night a narrator tells the story to a Chinese premier. The way of telling a story is quite different and innovative. In the first night the narrator is listening to the radio, and he listen that a Chinese premier Jiabao is coming to India to know the story of how entrepreneurs are growing in India. The narrator tells he himself is the best example of the entrepreneur. While telling story Balram is narrating a nation by presenting a canvas on which all things occur.
